Remove your account and data

Last updated: 23 October 2026

1. Overview

This page explains how to delete your account for the Explore Chemistry app and website (published by Explore Chemistra), what data is removed, and what is kept. You can delete your account at any time, free of charge.

2. Delete inside the app

  1. Sign in with the Google account you want to delete.
  2. Open Account from the bottom bar (or the account menu), then choose Settings.
  3. Tap Delete account, read the summary, type DELETE and confirm.

Deletion happens immediately and you are signed out on that device.

3. Request deletion by email

If you can no longer open the app, email simpledailyplanner26@gmail.com from the Google account's email address with the subject "Account deletion request". We may ask you to confirm ownership, then delete the account and confirm by email.

4. What is deleted

  • Your sign-in account and email address.
  • Synced study progress: streaks, quiz history, mistakes, bookmarks and goals.
  • Your plan, trial status and in-app payment records.
  • Quiz usage counts and activity history.
  • Study data saved on the device you delete from.

5. What may be kept

  • Payment processors (Razorpay, Google Play) keep their own transaction records under their policies and applicable law.
  • Internal admin action logs are kept with your account reference removed.
  • Study data stored on other devices stays there until you clear the app or browser data on those devices.

6. Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel a Google Play subscription — cancel it in the Play Store under Payments & subscriptions to stop future charges. Website plans paid via Razorpay do not renew automatically. Deletion does not entitle you to a refund; see the Refund Policy.

7. After deletion

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Signing in again with the same Google account creates a brand-new account. More details are in our Privacy Policy.
